Illustrations and branding for the Boorloo based organisation, Chronically Crafty. As a local chronically ill artist, I really believe in the community Chronically Crafty provides. This organisation is a safe space for disabled, neuro divergent, chronically ill and mentally ill folk to craft and connect. Craft is just the excuse. With this commission I wanted to show the cozy chaos to the crafting process. Warmth, joy and messy imperfection was the goal. This was achieved by layers and layers of cute details. There is a subtle texture to the illustrations to create that soft vibe whilst remaining clean enough for versatile branding.The sunny colour scheme encapsulates the welcoming environment that facilitator Jordan Alice Fyfe provides.

I had a lot of fun experimenting with mixed media to create the brandmark typeface. The word ‘Chronically’ mimics gouache paint and ‘Crafty’ by threads from a ball of yarn.
