Travel and my late twenties brought an inevitable love for watching birds. My favourite bird I’ve spotted is the giant Hornbill in the Sumatran jungle (their wings make a deep heavy sound like something out of Jurassic Park!). I also loved seeing storks with their huge nests on top of light poles and chimneys in rural Romania. I drew this piece from the most perfect drawing desk in Trondheim, Norway - I must say I love a slanted roof!
