STATE LIBRARY OF WA STICKERS

Illustrations commissioned by The State Library of WA to be utilised as stickers and graphics within their merchandise. The designs will be given to adults, young people and kids so they needed to appeal to a general audience. The brief goals were to increase awareness of the brand whilst making the library look fun and relevant. In addition, reminding people that the State Library offers many services to the community, alongside storytelling.

The illustrations pull from the State Library’s current brand colours - black and white with pops of bright tones. There are certain elements a local will recognise such as the Makigawa sculptures and the experience of studying in front of the long airy windows.

Not only is the State Library the home of WA storytelling, but it is a hub of community, as showcased by the movement of these colourful characters.
