During my time living overseas in 2025-26, I consumed more art than ever (particularly in Japan and South Korea). I noticed the art I loved the most were pieces that I saw myself in. I found myself shouting, “This is so me!” at certain character designs. This excitement is something I’d love for others to feel when they consume my art. So I started a series of greeting cards featuring very specific characters, inspired by my own feelings towards my loved ones.
